Please read these General Terms for Online Booking below carefully - by purchasing a ticket with us you are hereby agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

In addition to the ticket price, an Online Booking Fee is payable for tickets purchased online or via mobile devices and this will be notified to you during the booking process. This includes purchases made using any Station Cinema giftcards.

 

The Online Booking Fee is charged by The Station Cinema for the online service facility and upkeep which it offers to customers. The fee is levied to cover ongoing web development costs and other IT related operational costs. For the avoidance of doubt no part of the Online Booking Fee relates to the costs of card handling or for the use of a credit or debit card in the transaction.

 

No cost is incurred for purchasing tickets at the cinema from the box office directly. Tickets can be purchased alternatively over the telephone during opening hours with a charge of £1.00 for booking in this manner.

 

These charges are highlighted at the very beginning of the booking process, and indeed throughout allowing the customer the opportunity to discontinue with the booking should they so wish.

 

Sale of Tickets/Seating
The sale of cinema tickets is subject to availability. Your order is an offer to purchase from The Station Cinema. If the Station Cinema accepts your order, a confirmation page will be displayed on your screen at the end of the ordering process, and at this point there will be a contract between you and The Station Cinema.

 

You will also receive a confirmation e-mail of your completed order, for your information. It is recommended that you print out a copy of the confirmation page and/or confirmation e-mail for your records. Seating will be unreserved unless otherwise specified during the booking process.

 

Ticket Prices
Tickets are sold at the price displayed during the ordering process. All prices and fees include any applicable Value Added Tax. Payment can be made by any method specified in the order process. The Station Cinema will deduct your payment from your card at the time it processes your Credit/Debit/Stored Value card transaction.

 

For the avoidance of any doubt, where a transaction is not completed for whatever reason, The Station Cinema will not have levied its Online Booking Fee, as your Credit/Debit/Stored Value card transaction will not have been completed. Ticket prices include a restoration levy fee of £1.50 which is used to ensure this historic building is here for years to come.

 

Confirmation of Booking
On completion of your booking you will see a confirmation page displayed in your browser. You will also receive an email confirmation. It is advised that you print a copy of the confirmation page and/or confirmation email for your records.

 

Discounts
You cannot use any promotional vouchers or discount cards in conjunction with a ticket purchase via this website except for CEA Cards and Meerkat Movie Offers. If you have another applicable offer you will need to visit a cinema in person and purchase tickets directly from the cinema box office. 
You cannot use complimentary or industry passes to pay for a ticket purchase via this website. 

 

Security
This website uses the latest industry standard encryption technology to keep your personal information safe. All ordering information – including your name and credit card details – is encrypted using SSL ("Secure Sockets Layer") to maximise security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ticket system. To ensure that your information is even more secure, visitors’ credit card information is stored on a server which is not accessible from the Internet as soon as it is received.

 

Credit card transactions are handled by a third party financial institution which receives the credit card number and other personal identifying information only to verify the credit card numbers and to process transactions and all data is subject to GDPR regulations.

 

Age verification may be required depending on the films BBFC classification. The Cinema legally reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons who when asked to show applicable identification are unable to provide it correctly. Photo ID applicable can include a Citizencard, British Passport or Driving licence which must be valid. Any identification documents that are out of date will not be accepted neither will photocopies or photographs of ID.

Student tickets are valid only with in-date photographic Student ID (examples such as an official NUS, University or Sixth Form college card). When booking online you may be asked to show this ID before entering your screening. Failure to provide valid ID may result in you needing to pay the difference for a standard adult ticket price.

Refunds
Unless otherwise stated, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. All purchases of tickets are subject to our terms and conditions.
